# Where does my well water flow from?

Fascinating thread. I have nothing useful to add, just wanted to confirm that yes, on _This Old House_ two years ago, they went to 700+ feet (two days of drilling) to hit water in rural Massachusetts (Program #2414). As I recall, they also had a very elaborate septic system to channel waste far away from the house.
