# Where Does 'sic' Go?

Er, **Houlihan** , look at **Rhum Runner** ’s post. He/She was only using “PC BS” to refer to instances of “[sic]” being used to highlight “supposedly sexist language”, not the use of it in general.

And I agree, using it to impose your own views on quoted material does smack of self-righteousness.
