# Where does "the Grim Reaper" come from?

Hey, don’t blame me! That bit with Uranos was just a misunderstanding.

And I think that “silver-bowed” is one of the epithets Homer uses for Apollo. Of course, Homer was probably getting that from some earlier source, but that earlier source probably did not survive.

Oh that’s marvelous… two of the sites linked to on the thread lifted text from my original articles on the topic without permision or attribution… Grrrrr.

But at least my pages were linked to eventually… For a minute there I thought only the thieves were going to get links. Bet that means they are beating me with my own text in Google or something.
