Seriously, there used to be a time when every forum had one or two closed threads. Now I can’t even find the little padlock sign anywhere. Sure I see a few wrong forums now and then, maybe a warning or two. But really is that all? What’s going on? Is it that we’re all just good at this now? Are we just really lucky? Or are the mods slipping? ---

Just a WAG, but I’m thinking that there is more leeway given to the sillier threads now that we’re paying for the site. How else can you explain why “I Haven’t Killed A Thread All Month” is still open? 🙂 ---

If you want to see a closed thread, just try posting one of the following OPs: GQ: I need some help with my math homework. People that just come in once in a while and don’t really pay attention are probably mostly the same people who didn’t pay the $5, and also (in general) the people who start closure-worthy threads. ---
