# Where have my fonts gone?

Recently, I installed a whole lot of fonts (more than 200) onto my hard drive from a CD, but as a result my PC will now only display one font. I searched through my help guide, and was puzzled to find out that Windows has a problem when “too many fonts” are installed. My question is… how do I uninstall them and get my machine back in order? Should I reinstall windows? HELP PLEASE!!!

Depends on your version of Windows. Try [http://www.annoyances.org](http://www.annoyances.org) for an answer or [microsoft.com](http://microsoft.com) You need to register fonts before they work & 200 isn’t too many, more like 1000.
