Land of Low-Speed Car Chases and Oscar Mania\*, Los Angeles, CA I’m really Canajun, from Fonthill, Ontario. \*[sub]Seriously. I timed Friday’s newscast and they spent a total of ten minutes on the Oscars. It was their third story. The lead story, a high school shooting, only got 3 minutes. The second story was an Oscar-related accident. Thursday’s entire newscast was devoted to a car chase.[/sub] ---
