Sorry, I wasn’t meaning to diss Montserrat earlier. 🙂 Anyhow, getting this back on track, I’m removing the Cook Islands and French Polynesia, having been to both last year. Tibet, at least used to be a country, and many people claim it is an occupied sovereign state. Been there many a time… Saipan and the Micronesia states. ---

I haven’t been to many exotic countries, but I can claim one (sort of). The Yemen was oreigfinally on the list, and I can’t see (looking back through the thread) why it was crossed off – so I am now claiming to cross it off. Except that I haven’t really been to the Yemen: I was in the area in 1955, before there was such a country (or countries). At the age of 9, on a ship travelling from the UK to Australia, I visited (yes, set foot in, not just stayed on the ship in the port) Aden (then a British colony) for a few hours. Aden later became part of the South Yemen, and since the Nortyh and South have united, it is part of the Yemen. So it can now be properly crossed off the list. ---
