I’m looking for a good english language news site that can give me a better “world-view” of all the goings on here and abroad. Just trying to diversify the sources I get my news from!
Thanks for your help!

The BBC seems to publish MUCH faster than the american press services.
[thepaperboy](http://www.thepaperboy.com) has a huge collection of newspaper links, sortable by language, and is very handy when you want to find out about the goings on in some obscure part of the world.

The Times and the BBC are two very good sources, but I would also check out [http://www.msnbc.com](http://www.msnbc.com)

I find that they often go into more detail than the BBC, are equally professional, and take the same reasonably balanced view of world affairs. I read both regularly.
