Can never get into chat or just tonight? I seem to log in but am the only person listed. Seems odd.
And I’m not ignoring your email. I read it while at work and couldn’t reply then, and have felt guilty ever since.

I’m in chat, and it rocks. it’s a lot of fun.
Just get some IRC client (I use mIRC), connect to any undernet server, and join channel #straightdope and voila!
DROPZONE, pick a different server. I’m on [Baltimore.MD.US.Undernet.Org](http://Baltimore.MD.US.Undernet.Org). There are plenty of us here…

¿Que? I have absolutely no idea what you people are saying.
I log in from Fathom cuz I’m to lazy to learn any other ways. Seemed to go smoothly, but I’m the only person there, or was when I gave up. Tried different servers to no avail.
So, what you’re saying is that I have to break down and learn to use new stuff? (Actually, it all sounds older than dirt, but all unix stuff sounds ever so 1971!)
I thought it was odd that the chat room was empty.
