You can check for email addresses [here](http://www.trustify.info/check), however, Ashley Madison apparently didn’t verify users emails so anyone could have used anyone else’s address. A lucky excuse for many people, I’m sure. ---

How dumb would you have to be to not create an email address specifically for this purpose? Also, no verification was necessary? It’s hard to believe the searchable sites will reveal much. ---

Ihave to wonder at the number of accounts that press reports attribute to AM. I saw the number 30 million a couple of times. Almost one tenth of the population of the country? I don’t think so. Could that be the number of visits to the website over some period of time? Where do these numbers come from (besides an AM press release)? ---
