Where are you going to be working, and how are you planning to get there? what journey time you prepared to tolerate, and are there any other amenities you need to be within striking distance of (e.g. airport, golf course, clubs, whatever)?
Once you factor those together with your budget it should all start to get a lot easier to pick areas to consider.
