Look guys, we’re not mind-readers. If you don’t tell us where you are, it’s really really really hard to figure it out, even for someone with ESP. I’m tired of reading threads like “I just had the best \_\_\_\_\_\_ I’ve ever tasted, and it’s only 3 blocks from here! You’ve gotta try this place, especially since it’s so close!” and “Oh man, we just had an earthquake here; did you guys feel it where you are?” PLEASE put your location in your profile, and you’ll never have to worry about it again. Otherwise, ya know, it’s just rude. ---

The last piece of the puzzle… I don’t use an axe anymore, they’re pretty messy as far as cast-off goes. Your IP gives a general area, and social engineering fills in the rest. There is but one thing that will always halt my mission, that is banana bread. Two slices with melted butter to be exact. Many HVTs have escaped due to having Grannies that make a wicked banana bread. For every strength there is a weakness I suppose. Deviled eggs can fill in for the banana bread, but only in extreme circumstances. Bacon tits. ---

I doubt anyone who makes much of an effort would have any trouble figuring out my location, therefore I don’t find it necessary to be so literal as to state it outright. Sorry if that is annoying. ---

Mine changes, plus us bumming bums don’t get one. One of the reasons I’m such a pain about specifying whether something I’m saying applies to X or Y location is that I hate it when we get threads asking legal questions with no identification of location - hello? Are you from Bumfuck, Kansas, East Bumfuck, Texas, or West Bumfuck, Moldavia? The answers will vary! ---

Well I’m with the OP. So far as I know its quite easy for the forum software to show members location if the data is provided. It seems however that only Charter Members are shown. I accept that but IMHO it is a shame we can’t immediately see each others location on the right hand side. Just my 2 cents, no deal breaker. ---

I don’t know if I have my country listed. Too lazy to see. But what I do hate is when people say stuff like the following: 'In my country, we do x thing much differently than they do in the USA! Let me talk about how different it is for a few paragraphs without ever mentioning my country by name. I probably won’t put my country in my profile either so there’s no way of learning anything meaningful from this post. ’ Please just state your country. I don’t know why people do that shit. ---
