The location I have listed is way more specific, and therefore helpful, than that. ---

Prairie seems to be used more in Canada than the US, but I bet you’re in the US. I have no clue. ---

Almost as easy as it is to look in _your_ profile and get a general idea of where you are. I agree knowing other posters locations is desirable at times. But, I don’t find it frustrating in the least to have to click a link or do a quick search to make sense of what someone lists under their location. I’ve typed such phrases into search engines on several occasions and actually found it tells me more about a poster and their interests than if they list something as straightforward as Planet Earth, Southeast Asia, PEI or Boise. ---
