: taps foot : We are still waiting on a response on the mortgage. Less than 3 weeks to close and the builder is getting antsy. Nothing more I can do though. After reading up thread - you are deliberatly attempting to dress **fcd** in a pink bunny suit? 😃 All my UK friends get a nice 4 day weekend this weekend. I want one! Yes I am acting like a child 😛 It is almost Friday and I have 3 out of todays 5 conference calls completed and I have home made tortilla soup for my lunch. Life is good today ---

I wonder if I can convince my boss to put walls around this giant desk. It’s REALLY distracting being able to hear everyone. The conference room, the lunch room, the guy hacking in his office; I can hear them all. My anxiety’s gone down some since the vendors we were waiting for showed up, but this still SUCKS. ---

Silver, would it help to have some quiet music playing? What makes me twitchy is having people walk up behind me. I need to get myself to Target and find a little sticky mirror to put on my monitor so I can see them. ---

My back faces the wall, so that’s alright (otherwise, I’d be freaking out more. And I have my mp3 player, but it doesn’t block everything. I know it’s silly, but with the social anxiety, the agoraphobia, the dislike of change, and everything else, I’m really hating this. I keep telling myself I’ll get used to it. The layout isn’t really any worse than the last job I had for a long time, except for a lot more foot traffic. And no one here is a giant jerk unlike that job (one of the salesmen would walk by and literally pound on my monitor or one of the printers. Asshole.) It’s just stressful. ---

I’ve had sinus stuff and feel a little better. Stoopid allergies! I talked with OYKW and told him I’d make blts and fries for dindin rather than goin’ out. I just don’t want to go out. I will go to Maundy Thursday services over to the church house this evenin’ cause I want to and I should. Stoopid trees havin’ orgies! ---

Mystery of the bunny costume has been solved - we gave it, and all of the other costumes, to the summer camp where our daughter worked 5 years ago. Oh well… I just couldn’t get into the idea of of meatloaf for supper, so we’re going out for Chinese. ---

We’ll see how that works out. Being forced to take tomorrow off as a vacation. (Background: New city policy. Used to be able to accrue whatever vacation time built up. Used to be able to sell it back at half price. Now, anything over 200 hours evaporates at close of business day, June 30 and no sellback. I had about 300 hours to burn through and it’s getting close to the deadline.) I will find some way to bear up. ---

I haven’t heard about the house yet. I thought it was taken down but they just moved it off the houses for sale page. I can’t get to talk to the SO because he is driving in WV and the reception is horrible. He did manage to get out that he has a while yet on his lease, so I don’t know why he was telling me he wanted to move. Then again with his requirements it could take a year to find a place. So I’m just putting it in the hands of fate, if it happens it does, if it doesn’t then move on to somewhere else. It’s not like I am in a huge hurry. \*\*Rosie \*\* if you wanna come down here, but I guess that would be one hell of a commute. ---
