I just heard the song Sister Christian by Night Ranger, and although I can’t swear I’ve heard the original ballad before I can swear that somewhere I heard a cover version of it. I remember hearing a young girl (possibly very young) singer the chorus to that song (Motorrin! what’s your price to fly?..) It might have been a commercial, a Radio Disney cover version, a theme song to a kid’s t.v. show… I can’t recall, but the Wikipedia page’s lists of places that song has appeared doesn’t answer it. Can anyone tell me where the hell I heard a young girl singing the chorus to Sister Christian? ---

Nope, none of those are it. I think it was a car commercial; it could’ve also been a movie trailer, or a t.v. show promo- the kind of ads that we no longer have record of. And I thought I distinctly remembered hearing it sung by a young girl (10-17 I’d say). ---

Turns out the song was also used in a laughable Best Buy commercial a few years ago (youtube it). Also, youtube the parody of that commercial. ---
