ARGH. What the hell happened to my Josh Joplin CD? It’s ridiculous, my brother claims that he has no idea, but given that A: He likes Josh Joplin almost as much as I do, and B: He’s the only one that ever takes my CDs, and never asks besides, I think he lost it.

Pink Floyd’s **The Final Cut** ; once it adhered itself to the top of my 10-disc changer, where it remained, missing, for years. When I realized that every CD I put in slot seven skipped, I found it, stuck to the roof like a shiny spherical mountain climber. I had to dislodge it with sophisticated dislodging apparatus, a butter knife and my fingers, but promptly lost it again. This time it fell into a bag. It’s safe now, though.
