# Where there a lot of sick animals in Vietnam?

I don’t know about other Brit dopers, but the word ‘vet’ is pretty well established as a single-meaning word, and the meaning is ‘Animal Doctor’. So whenever I see the word ‘Vet’ my first thought is ‘Animal Doctor’.  
So when I saw the recent thread ‘An SDMB Vet returns’ I thought “Ah, we have an animal doctor in our ranks” and then seconds later it dawned.
