I am sure they appreciate it, they only have 320 million in assets including 69 million in overseas tax havens. ---

By all means, donate to the SPLC. Morris Dees needs a new swimming pool and another yacht. Seriously, the Nazis are about as big a threat to the modern US as the Apaches or the Comanche. ---

At the end of fiscal year 2015 the Southern Poverty Law Center had net assets of $328,395,092 according to their [IRS Form 990](https://www.splcenter.org/sites/default/files/990_103116.pdf) filing. This is not some kindof big secret or conspiracy; this is what is known as an _endowment_, money that is used as investment capital and to sustain it through downturns in charitable donation (due to changes in tax law, such as those the GOP is currently attempting to ramrod through Congress) and in times when increased spending is required. The SPLC has maintained a sizeable endowment since 1974, and while their officers are all paid six figure salaries, they are hardly out of line with what other 503(c) organizations of comparable size pay C-level officers. [Charity Navigator gives them high ratings in accountability & transparency, although less in fiscal responsibility.](https://www.charitynavigator.org/index.cfm?bay=search.summary&orgid=4482). Unfortunately, Nazis did not remain powerless and initiated a global war which devastated not only Germany but all of Europe, plunged Eastern Europe into a four and a half decade long subservience to the Soviet Union, and was generally a bad time had by all involved, not to mention the approximately 20 million people who died in World War II. The hate-rousing neo-Nazis, Klansmen, and white nationalists who demonstrated in Charlottesville and elsewhere have gained attention far out or proportion with their numbers and act to inspire others to hatred and fear, while the president that they have endorsed continues to gainsay and and undermine fundamental institutions of democracy and vital government functions by disputing factual reporting with baseless conspiracy theories, insisting that the election that he won was fraudulent, and appointing cabinet members and heads of agencies with people committed to dismantling those agencies from the inside without legislative consent. The violently cartoonish assrabbits screaming in hate and anger may not be the ultimate problem, but given free reign and tacit approval by the highest authority in the nation inspires others toward hatred and disregard for the rights of others, and that may be the greatest threat; it is certainly more than that posed by fundamentalist Islamic terror or undocumented immigrants. You could donate to the USC Shoah Foundation. They help remind us that the Holocaust was real and that people forgetting that it happened is a real and present danger. I showed the Spielberg’s film “Schindler’s List” at a recent film festival I put on and all of the proceeds from that showing were donated to the Shoah Foundation. They do amazing work every day and need all the financial support they can get. ---

Near as I can tell, the last persons killed by Apaches died 131 years ago (1886). The last person killed by Nazis died less than four months ago. ---

The tiki-torch loser-gang is a minority. Unless, in a goose-gander thingy, whenever the left/Occupy/BLM marches and the Hammer-and-sickle guys come and the Che Guevara t-shirts appear you accept that they are communists and should take the blame for Stalin, Mao, Castro, and Pol Pot. * * * Really, this whole “Trump’s a Nazi” beggars belief and can only come from deep ignorance of what Nazi/Fascist means and also a clear softer spot for communism. ---

Somewhat facetious, but: I like “donating” to my local gun store. Baseball bats are all fine and well, but you have to bring a personal level of hatred to the game to choose that as your Weapon of Choice. Not to mention a certain level of physical development/capability, and I’m hardly “The Bear Jew.” Or even Jewish! :rolleyes: [I like this; for killin’ Nazi’s, it gets a the job done right.
