# Where to find a large "swinging ring" for a monkey bar on a swingset

I don’t want the normal swing set rings; rather, I want a set of large rings or hoops to make a monkey bar crossing. Something like [this](http://i.imgur.com/R5BU6.jpg) except I’ll be mounting them to a treehouse+wood structure. I imagine 12" diameter would be ideal, but 10" or 8(???)" may work, but I can’t seem to be able to find anything like them anywhere on the internet or at Home Depot, Ace, etc. Does anyone know where I might find some rings of that size that could hold 150 pounds?
Alternatively if anyone has any other neat ideas for unusual or creative monkey bars, that could be another option.

I’m trying to get my retirement paid for by a rigorous training of my offspring 😉 so your suggestion is not too far off for year 3.

I just did a Google search; most such rings are designed to hang from a chain and most have a 75 lb weight limit. There were some at Lowes with a 300 lb weight limit but they were triangular and hanging from a chain. For what you want, you might be better off finding a local blacksmith to custom make it. (But I suspect they might not want to do it because of the liability if one of the welds fail.)
