# Where to find good cuts of Kaiju?

The subject just about says it all? Where can I find the original Japanese versions of Kaiju, especially those featuring the Heisei Gojira, except that they have been subtitled in English?

I would especially like to find _Gojira_ and _Gojira no Gyakushu_. In part this is because I want to see them as they were meant to be, before US studios did such harm to them, and I also want my wife to find out that there can be more to the old Kaiju films than she thinks.

Oops, I meant the _Showa Gojira_ , not the Heisei. That’ll larn me fer thinkin’ about local restaurants while posting on Godzilla.

all the films are listed here. I am not sure if this version is available in Japanese with English subtitles. Just get the Japanese version and learn Japanese. It comes in handy.

You don’t actually live in the real world, do you. When, among my research job, maintaining my house, raising three children, etc. do I “learn Japanese”?

When you get a real life, I doubt you’ll be so flippant with such “suggestions”.

As for “coming in handy”–since when? In my work, I find far more call for Russian or German than for Japanese. In my daily life, there is far more call for Spanish than for Japanese.
