Time has just published an ā€œIdeaā€ piece by [My Jr Senator](http://time.com/3663623/obama-not-at-paris-terror-march-ted-cruz/) on the matter. In which he bemoans the insult & reiterates why heā€™ll be a wonderful president. Just in case anybody was wondering whether this was yet another fake scandal invented by the Right Wing noise machineā€¦ ---

Yup, the guy who wanted to cut NASAā€™s budget (I canā€™t believe Texans voted for a guy willing to cut anything from NASA) yet vociferously wants NASA to retake the world lead in space. If I were to say to him (for example) ā€œMamma Mia, thatā€™s a spicy meat-a post!ā€ and he responded ā€œuh, yeah, whateverā€ and I then replied ā€œnow go jam a meatball up your motherā€™s shitter,ā€ one could argue that my latter comment was directly based on the classic Alka-Seltzer TV commercial from 1969. ---
