Spun off from [this thread](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=563160&page=2), at **dhkendall** ’s suggestion. We’ve polled for where the first place was. Now tell us the most exotic or unusual place you’ve had sex. For me, the one that comes to mind first is on the hood and in the back seat of a rental car parked in the Pike Place parking garage. Middle of the day, all sorts of people passing by. We were parked towards the far wall, so most people didn’t even glance our way. ---

Most exotic - a tropical island with only the two of us and three coconut palms on it. I was in the Peace Corps in Micronesia at the time so it was a pretty regular event. If I was going to get any, I pretty much had to go over to this island. Weirdest - Broom closet of the Church of the Imaculate Conception. With a name like that (if I spelled it right), I had to. Most unique- top of Mount Elbert (the highest mountain in Colorado) It was also the most exhausting…the air was sooo thin. I also made love to my wife near the summit of Mt. Sunflower (the highest point in Kansas - It is actually a wheat field in Western Kansas). I had a great deal more stimina. ---

1. In the elevator of the Life Sciences building. At night. On roller skates. It makes it more interesting that the building only has three floors, including ground, so I kept pushing all the buttons to make it go up and down. Of course the door opens each time it stops on a floor. Sort of a mobile, sexual Russian roulette. 2. On the roof of the newly opened Engineering building. In the middle of the day. Was actually kind of peaceful until that helicopter came by… 3. Hood of the car at night when we had some friends over. Probably around midnight. Our place was on a cul-de-sac. 4. Lots of swimming pool sex at apartment buildings, usually late at night. 5. In the sea at a crowded beach. 6. On the crowded beach at night, once the crowds were gone. (this was actually at the non-crowded end of the beach. Beach sex can get gritty; the allure is better than the reality) ---

On the walkway around the rangers’ fire tower. Other places which aren’t so exotic (I figure a lot of people have experienced these): in a lake, on an outside stairway, on a boulder at a park, in a hay loft, in various vehicles, in a (closed) restaurant kitchen, in a moving vehicle (a third person was driving).
