I was sleeping. In fact I slept right through the storm, amazingly.

What? Oh, I thought you meant the storm that recently [shut off power to parts of Memphis](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?threadid=199740) for almost _two weeks_.

(Sorry to be snarky. I’m a little peeved that this relatively brief blackout made screaming international headlines and ours got no coverage at all.)
