# Where would I get furniture appraised?

Well, I’ve got a dreasfully mundane question today…Where should I go to get some furniture appraised? My parents are thinking about selling a very old table and chairs that were made by one “Monterey Furniture Company,” whoever they are. Short of managing to get on “Antiques Roadshow,” is there a good way to find an honest place to get this stuff looked at?
