I’d like to find out if there is a correlation between Dopers’ political leanings and where they live. For the purposes of this poll, I’m not interested in _why_ you plan to vote for the candidate of your choice; just where you are and the candidate you plan to vote for for President. I’ll start. I’m a native of Southern California, now living in the northwest corner of Washington. I plan to vote for Kerry. ---

South Carolina, and I’m throwing my vote away on Kerry. Not to say that Kerry is not a worthy candidate, just that this state is ALWAYS blue. Almost no point in voting Democrat. ---
