And in other news, [a major Clinton fundraiser has defected to Obama.](http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2008/04/25/major-clinton-fundraiser-switches-to-obama)

>
> Gabriel Guerra-Mondragon – who served as ambassador to Chile during the Clinton administration – had raised close to half a million dollars for Clinton’s campaign, reports Chuck Todd, who broke the story.
>
> “We’re just bleeding each other out,” Guerra-Mondragon told the Washington Post. “Looking at it as coldly as I can, I just don’t see how Senator Clinton can overcome Senator Obama with delegates and popular votes. I want this fight to be over, the quicker the better.”

Modragon is a major political figure in Puerto Rico, by the way.
Where I come from, dropping from a 20% lead a month ago to a 9.4% lead on election day is hardly ‘speeding up’. ‘Fading’ would be a more accurate description of such a performance.
The 20% is an exaggeration. The average of PA polls taken at least a month before the PA primary, but after TX/OH, gave Hillary a lead of more like 15-16%. So Obama reduced that somewhat, but he was up against a tough demographic.

I said she lost. I’m basing it on the numbers … and maybe too much influence from Dick Morris?
