You people need to stop complaining. So help me God, if they cancel that show, I am going to bring my little ball of sunshine over to your house to stay. Dora is wonderful, not least because she pisses off my two oldest kids because they can’t get why she’s ‘talking mexican’ all the time. ---

**gatoescapado** , while at daycare, Aaron runs around, interacts with other kids, learns social skills, and rarely has the need to sit and be quiet. IMO, it’s a hell of a lot better (and healthier) than sitting in front of the boob tube all day. Robin ---

Not to let my earlier post suggest here’s nothing to Pit about the show. My ire is frequently drawn by Tico the Squirrel. He’s clearly blind – how else to explain the numerous instances in which Dora and Boots must yell “Para!” to get him to stop to avoid falling boulders, clumbs of mud, or other natural disasters. Yet he always tools about in a fancy rocket-car or other speedy vehicle. The damn creature is a menace to road safety. ---

No way, Tico’s just too cool with his own schnitz that he doesn’t have time to pay attention to Dora’s schnitz until she yells for his help. 😉 As for Swiper, I just assumed he’s a minor-level demon (an imp?), and “Swiper no swiping!” is the spell that exorcises him. 😃 ---

You know, Dora isn’t just for the kids. That girl has gotten me through more than one terribly hung over Saturday morning. Stumble from bed to couch, turn on tv. The show moves at just the right pace when nothing will quite focus without causing intense brainal pain. And that crazy Boots is a riot. ---

God, I hate **Dora the Explorer** almost as much as I hate **The Wiggles**! Has anyone else noticed that everyone on the show speaks as if the recipient of their oration is a fucking mile away? Conversational tones, people. And if that fucking baby jaguar gets stuck in a tree or a waterfall again, I want to see dora with a new coat (this from someone who abhors fur coats). Can’t Diego talk some sense into that walking train wreck? Tico’s a mindlessautomaton. Grumpy Old Troll rules that show! ---
