A couple of weeks ago Al Gore was stumping for Prop 87, an “anti-oil” measure in California. Then Bill Clinton came on the scene for the same cause and Al disappeared. What happened? I heard on the news that Gore went to England as their environment guru. Maybe that has something to do with it. Some sort of legality quirk? He was pretty well received around here. So’s Clinton, of course. Anyway, what happened? Why do I see no more Al Gore commercials? Peace, mangeorge ---

James Carville was interviewed in the Oct 30th issue of _Newsweek_. He said Gore plans to run for Prez in '08. I’m not sure if Carville was joking or not. ---

I heard about ManBearPig in a conversation with half a dozen other guys, if you can call six men talking “conversation”. Anyway, it was related as an actual occurance starring Al Gore (much like the “I invented the internet” myth). I’d forgotten about it till now. Thanks, **Snooooopy** , for the reminder. I checked Wikpedia. Typical. I guess if some can’t find anything wrong with a person, they feel compelled to make something up. Or at least (maybe worse) pass along a lie. The South Park thing was actually pretty funny. Peace, mangeorge BTW; I just had a brilliant idea how to answer my question. BTBTW; does political protocal call for Gore to disappear if Clinton shows up in such a situation? bubeye ---

Slightly off-topic, but it must be weird to be Al Gore. To have won-but-not-won the 2000 election, then to stand back and watch all the horror caused by the guy you beat-but-didn’t-beat. Is anyone’s – or has anyone’s life ever been – this weird in this particular way? ---

I was a little surprised that he was calling me about that race, rather than a proposition. ---

And for my money, I imagine every day John Kerry wakes up, looks in the mirror, and thanks the deity of his choice that he didn’t get saddled with cleaning up GWB’s mess. ---

I’m mostly wondering why his pro prop 86 commercial here in CA seems to have disappeared. He hasn’t called me. ☹ ---

I’m eagerly awaiting the Nov 21 release of his DVD, which I’ve ordered from netflix. It doesn’t seem that long ago that conservatives were ridiculing the very idea of global warming, does it? Couldn’t find the cute kitty pic. 😉 ---
