Good to hear that you are at least getting to eat some food. I hope the return of spring will help get everything moving correctly and let you keep improving. At least I gather you are out of the hospital and rehab and back at home? That must surely improve your spirits. ---

I’m out of the hospital and currently living with my brother. So technically I’m not “at home”, but it’s better than a hospital or rehab. ---

The problem is that my legs are swollen. I called the doctor and he said go to the ER. They took some blood and did an ultrasound of my legs. I’m waiting for the results. ---

While I was at OT today for my hand I heard another patient consulting with a physical therapist and discussing a great length how to find the correct fitting compression stockings. Apparently there’s a bit of an art to it to get the right size. From what I could hear, she had been in some kind of car accident and had actually developed compartment syndrome in her leg.
