# Where's Metafilter?

I’ve been getting “cannot find server/the page cannot be displayed” for a few days.

I’ve done tracert from my PC and two different tracert sites, and they all get responses up to the same IP address, after which nothing but timeouts show up.

Their Livejournal feed [http://www.livejournal.com/users/metafilter/](http://www.livejournal.com/users/metafilter/) got the last article on Tuesay.

I even checked Google groups, but there are no complaints there.

Anybody know what’s going on?

[http://status.metafilter.com/](http://status.metafilter.com/) has the details - basically a hardware failure on the server has taken awhile to correct
