I’d much prefer Christopher Lee as Death. Ian McKellen is a bit warm 'n fuzzy for the character imho. 🙂 ---

I would argue that when we first meet Death, he isn’t warm n fuzzy. It’s really through his interactions with Mort and Susan that he obtains a degree of fuzziness. ---

I second Ian McKellan’s voice for Death, because he can be pretty badass when he needs to be. Alan Rickman would be good as Vetinari if he dropped a few pounds–he’s very muscular, and I’ve always pictured the Patrician as rake-thin. Who’s the girl who played Hugh Grant’s love interest in _Love Actually_? She’d make a good Lady Sybil. ---

I’ll vote for Katee Sackhoff as Angua. She doesn’t exactly look, well, lupine, but she does look like a woman who could get taken seriously as a police recruit (and as Carrot’s love interest).
