# Where's Veb?

Put out an APB for a tall, bearded, female librarian.

She probably made the mistake of thinking nothing could be worse than the expressways in Chicago and _actually ventured onto the surface streets!_ In which case she is still stuck in traffic somewhere.

Rubes, rubes, ignore Pluto. I am tall, a librarian but not bearded. AND I WAS RIGHT THERE IN THE HOTEL!

I posted the dismal tale of woe under the “what I learned thread”. Like a total idiot I didn’t take my laptop, so I couldn’t check in online.

I got your phone message (after they finally connected me “a room”; they wouldn’t give me a name or number.) I mean after they connected to me a RIGHT room.

It was pitiful. I got your message, and Sassy’s, just after you’d all left! ::snivels from pure self-pity:: By the time I got down to the lobby, all of you were gone and I didn’t know where you were going!

::pounds head into wallboard::

So close, so close…all that fun and I MISSED IT!

But I tried, folks!

(bet my mini-fridge bar tab was higher than yours collectively!)

It appears that she has been spotted in the message preceeding my last one as well. Glad you’re OK
