Ok, I checked the car: in the door pocket above the visor under the seat in the glove box and trunk the only thing I discovered was 5 boxes of kleenex and not 1, not 2, not 3, but 4 SPARE KEYS TO MY CAR!! Inside the car!! I might as well throw a brick through the window to make it even easier to steal my car. Egads! Still no checkbook. ---

Hmm. The plot thickens… I checked (no pun intended) with my online banking at Wells Fargo, and the last check I wrote was on the 26th to a local Pizza delivery place. So my checkbook may very well be in this very apartment! ---

How 'bout your purse? How 'bout the slotted thingy that you keep your bills in? Near the calculator? Could it have slipped out of your purse and between the cushions of the couch? I hate to say it, but…check the garbage. I find many important things in the garbage. ---
