I played all of these these games for years - getting pretty competitive with WC3 and continually modding Morrowind and Oblivion.

For PC only, I would have to put Doom and Doom 2 on here since I played them when they first came out and still play once in awhile. I’m not sure of a third one, maybe Solitaire or Minesweeper if they count.

Civilization. If I can count the entire series, I’ve been playing since it came out in 1991. If not, then Civ IV, came out in 2005, I still play it - I like it better than Civ V.

Tecmo Bowl for the Nintendo. I have been playing it ever since it game out for the NES console in the 80’s and still play it on a Nintendo emulator on my PC now. I am getting pretty good at it.
Flight Simulator might count as longer but it is multiple versions. I started with the Commodore 64 version in the early 1980’s and use FS X almost every day now.

Diablo 2 From 2000 until… some time in 2010 was the last time I played
Civ 3 First played in about 1996, last played a month or so ago
Nethack About the same time frame as Civ 3
Also, I guess, WoW. From the day after release, until about a year ago. We stopped playing, our account got hijacked. Just got a new comp, and I am going to attempt to recover the account and install Cataclysm.

They’re in order of actual hours of play, but for duration Spaceward Ho! is number 1. I still load up a game every now and then and it’s been over 20 years. When I first started playing the only multiplayer option was hotseat. I clearly remember my husband and I arguing over how far out of the room was acceptable during the opposing players turn.

I got them in 1999 or 2000, and have played them all as recently as last year.

Heroes of Might & Magic 3. Came out in 1998, and I can still easily lose 6 hours in it. The sequels after 3 couldn’t compare.
Day of the Tentacle (1993, one of the first CD games) gets replayed once a year. I already know the whole game, but it was Lucasarts at their best,and one of the funniest games ever.

Uhhh…might want to check the year, there. Civ 3 didn’t come out until 2002 or so. Maybe you mean Civ 2?

Everquest, HoMM 3. Big gap after that… I guess Civ 4 comes in third if I have to pick one, largely because I didn’t like Civ 5 that much.

Starcraft (I replayed the original campaign and expansion last year for like the sixth or seventh time, and I think I still like it better than SC2)
Diablo II (I’d totally load it up again if I could find my discs)
World of Warcraft (played it for about two years, and it was my only PC game during those years)
I have the sneaking suspicion there’s a pattern here…

Count me for the Civilization family of games, since the beginning. (20+ years)
Master of Orion II has been on every one of my computers since it was released. (~15 years)
I also regularly play Emperor: Rise of the Middle Kingdom, and that game is about 10 years old.
