I like Kevin Smith’s comedies (I even thought _Mallrats_ and _Jersey Girl_ were okay) and they’ve all come out since 1990. Ben Stiller has made some good comedies. I liked _There’s Something About Mary_, _Meet the Parents_, _Mystery Men_, _Zoolander_, _Dodgeball_, and _Tropic Thunder_. I liked _Notting Hill_, _Love Actually_, and _Pirate Radio_, all by Richard Curtis. I liked Stephen Chow’s _Shaolin Soccer_ and _Kung Fu Hustle_. There’s some teen comedies I’ve liked: _Josie and the Pusseycats_, _Not Another Teen Movie_, _Juno_, and _Easy A_ among them. ---

Another one that has not been mentioned: **Ruthless People**. Great plot (based loosely on O. Henry’s _The Ransom of Red Chief_), great performances and some of the funniest scenes I’ve come across. Also, **Soapdish**. Kevin Kline steals the show, but good performances and laughs all around. Did anyone mention **Top Secret!**? If you liked **Airplane!** and **Kentucky Fried Movie** and **Naked Gun** , give this one a try. ---

I love City Slickers 1 and 2. God bless you always!!! 🙂 🙂 🙂 Holly P.S. To me, a 3rd one should have been made. With Jack Palance not being here anymore, who would play Curly’s twin brother Duke now? Another actor that can’t be replaced in my opinion is the guy that brought the character of Ernest P. Worrell to life. May him and Jack rest in peace. ---

For me it’s gotta be the following: “State And Main” “Bullets Over Broadway” “Planes, Trains, and Automobiles” “Dumb and Dumber” “Animal House” And the DVD commentary by Abel Ferrara for the film “King Of New York” is hysterical, even if the movie’s a serious drama. ---
