Let’s see… Every word (well, the intelligible ones) of every song off every album AND every weird little bootleg: R.E.M. Every word of every officially released song: The Police Red Hot Chili Peppers Nirvana Talking Heads Liz Phair If this were still 1981, I could add Steely Dan, Neil Young, and probably a few others to my list. Toad the Wet Sprocket (I think I’ve heard and know every song they’ve ever recorded, not just the ones on albums) Nirvana Soundgarden (All but the Screaming Life/Fopp stuff, which I only know a little) Barenaked Ladies (~97%) ---

The Allman Brothers Band, of course Nirvana, still Getting there with Radiohead If I can’t now, there was probably a time when I could’ve guessed anything by Soundgarden (and maybe Alice in Chains) after a few notes ---

Wow. Probably the only band I know every single song by, officially and unofficially, would be **Belle and Sebastian** , and even then, I haven’t listened enough to the Peel Christmas Party to know every one of those Christmas songs. I know most of **Talking Heads** except for about half of the _Naked_ album. Blegh. I think I know all of the songs by **The Soft Boys**. (These aren’t counting **The Shins** , who only have one album and a few EPs, or **The Vaselines** , with one compilation.)
