Which Bands have had their Bohemian Rhapsody moment? Which *should* have?

Yes, yes, yes, on everything that’s already been said about Radiohead…and yet, if I had to pick one of all their albums to listen to…it would be The Bends.

Judas Priest British Steel
KISS Destroyer
Iron Maiden? Debatable, but I’d say Powerslave

Hmm. While PYROMANIA set the stage for Leppard, I’d say HYSTERIA was their big breakout album.

Prince with the film/album Purple Rain or, if you want one song, the single When Doves Cry.

Del the Funkee Homosapien with Deltron 3030

What about Van Morrison’s Astral Weeks?

Frampton was nothing before “Frampton Comes Alive,” and by the same token, KISS was a joke before “Alive.”

Also, how about Joe Walsh with “You Can’t Argue With a Sick Mind” or Fleetwood Mac with “Fleetwood Mac?”

I wholly agree with “ALIVE!” If I’d heard “Hotter Than Hell” before “ALIVE” I’d just given up on KISS. My GOD, even the magic of the compact disc can’t fix the production on that dog.

It was lost in all the drinking, but Let it Be was the point where Replacements quit the BS covers and Paul Westerberg put his heart on the line.
