In follow up to which Rock-n-Roller would make the best president(Suprisingly Ted Nugent got the most votes), we now move onto more important issues. Pick the best equipped cartoon character to lead the free world. Best–Brian, the dog from Family Guy. Cool demeanor, intelligent, and easy to get along with. I know he has a drinking problem, but I figured that goes with the job description these days. Worse–Diamond Joe Quimby of the Simpsons. Too much like a real politician. ---

If Lisa’s ever president, I sure as heck didn’t vote for her. I think Mickey Mouse would do pretty well, at least for a term. He’s got a good head for business, and he seems to have the right personality for it. I say one term because four years of that laugh is enough for anyone. ---

I personally have always favored [Nicholas D. Wolfwood](http://mondo123.tripod.com/nick.html) from Trigun (warning: dear Nick is currently dwelling in pop-up hell, sorry). He’d have the religious vote sewn up (c’mon, he carries around a giant freaking cross), he loves guns, so there’s another voting block, and anyone who let looks influence them unduly is also sewn up. Actually, he’s sounding like the kind of candidate I would never ever vote for… but trust me, he’s a loyal friend, a kick-ass defender of the weak, and knows true evil when he sees it. Might have to lose that man-cleavage for TV though. ---

Now that you mention it, **TeaRoses** , I think I’d vote for Wolfwood if he were up in the next election. He’d have to be better than the alternatives I’ve seen so far. I don’t know that he’s the best toon for the job, though–we haven’t seen any real leadership or executive ability in him. I think you could make a case for David Xanatos from _Gargoyles_. He’s brilliant, knowledgable, diplomatic, and has proven himself a highly talented leader and executive. Of course, he’s also somewhat ruthless, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. My biggest worry would be that he would use the position to further his business interests, but I think the reformed Xanatos from the latter parts of the series would be above that sort of behavior. ---

Captain America, of course. Superman or Batman for Veep. Worst-- 3-way toss up between Bender of _Futurama_, Megatron of the Decepticons, or Cobra Commander, the evil would-be World Dictator Villain from _GI Joe_. ---

I’m torn between Bill the Cat and the Brain (as in, Pinky and). Brain has the smarts and the ambition, but it’s hard to beat a dead cat cloned back to life from the DNA thingamajigs in his tongue. ---

I don’t think he’d be quite the administrator that Xanatos would, but we could definitely rely on him on civil rights issues. Telepathy could give him a huge advantage in the foreign relations department as well. On the other hand, Xanatos has some formidable magickers around him…tough call. I may switch my vote to Xavier though, just because of his probable policies on individual rights. Might I toss in a suggestion that Johnny Bravo should be on the “worst possible” ballot? 😉 ---
