Rosie : “I’m banning guns… except for my own personal use.” Ms. Liberal-when-it-suits-me. I’d say most any Hollywood/Celeb type is unfit. Regan was a decent choice, not great, but good. Bush was better, but hamstrung by vengance seeking democrats. Clinton can’t keep his pants zipped, and Gore has the charisma of E Coli. Little George isn’t much better, he’s in bed with corporations. (sigh) Sounds like Hollywood, doesnt’ it? ---

I think the ideal ticket would be the Warren Beatty/Madonna ticket. As long as the media and every politian other than the president has declared open season on the personal life of whoever sits in the Siege Perilous, let’s elect people who have absolutely nothing to hide since we know every excruciating detail already. We can print up their Big List O’ Sins up front (boinking, children out of wedlock, drugs, unshaved armpits), then get on to the real business. The worst would be Paul Newman/Joanne Woodward, because they are such nice people, devoted to each other & their kids, and it would be a pity to destroy their lives. ---
