This comes partly from the “eye-candy” thread and partly from watching a VH1 show solely for the host, Ms. Jennifer McCartney. Now, really. Strip away the twins and what do you got? A nice butt. Okay, let’s make Jenny just slightly above average looking. Do you think she would be anywhere near where she is, well was? Now, it could be agrued that the Beatles wouldn’t have been nearly as sucessful if teenage girls hadn’t wanted to throw themselves at them; however, the Beatles had great talent that would have came out no matter how fugly they were. That’s not what this thread is about. Who would still be waiting tables or selling cars if they weren’t attractive\*? My initial votes: Jenny McCartney- average actress at best Jessica Simpson and Mandy Moore- even if Brit and Chris were only average looking both have great voices. These two wouldn’t have been mentioned in the same breath. the majority of reality show stars- especially the dating shows and shows on MTV JLo- maybe a background dancer in some show, but not the star Those are a few. I’ll probably be back with more. What do you think? \*Not if they were downright ogrish. Let’s just say only slightly above average. ---

Even the females who are reporting the news or appearing in news analysis shows mostly look good. Check out the long list of good-looking (politically conservative) females flooding the media. ---

Damn, **Exapno Mapcase** and **DMark** beat to Keanu Reeves. I can’t picture _The Matrix_ with anyone else as Neo, because blank works for a guy who’s seen his world turned upside down, but he never would’ve have gotten there if he couldn’t look pretty while doing it. ---

Britney Spears has a great voice? Wow. You learn something new every day. I don’t think Julia Roberts would be anywhere without her looks - and I don’t think she’s that good-looking. But hey. She certainly wouldn’t be making $20 million per movie. Nor would Will Smith or, in my opinion, Reese Witherspoon. Kirsten Dunst is okay, but I think she gets a lot of points for her looks, too… not sure about her acting. ---
