Because [this previous thread](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=683124) sadly ignores most of the Doctor’s companions from his earlier regenerations, let’s rectify things. Males and females are both included, as well as The Master because … _shipping_. If you’d prefer Kamelion or K-9, I don’t want to hear about it. ---

I love Sarah Jane as one can only love his first companion, but Romana II could turn my head still if it weren’t for that blasted Dawkins chap. But which is the one in that bikini clip? Peri? A bit between my times, but YOWZAH! ---

I voted for Jamie, Harry & Adric. I already 'fessed up in another thread that at age 13 I was a bit smitten with him, so I guess I had to name him. Jamie’s got that Scottish brogue; plus as a Highlander clansman I bet he’s a mad wild in the sack. Harry - I don’t know. Not really actually, but he just gets so little recognition. I would’ve voted for Captain Mike Yates of UNIT, had you deigned to consider him a companion. And nitpicking, but you left out a couple of official (and one semi-official) companions - Katarina, Sara Kingdom, and Dodo Chaplet. You also missed Sergeant Benton, but seeing as he was only ever a recurring player and only had one televised trip in the TARDIS, it’s understandable that he didn’t make the cut. ---

Mmmm… Nyssa. So petty, so smart, sweet … but practical. She’s as sad as Teegan when Adric dies, but just asks the Doctor, “Can you fix it?”, and he says no. While Teegan screeches and bawls that its all just not right. Delgado’s Master is the obvious one for me, with my love of villains and facial hair, but I always thought the Brigadier could be some kinky fun offscreen. So much repression… My first choice is not represented, although he is kind of a cheat. Jonathan Pryce’s Master from _Curse of Fatal Death_ was perfectly hot. “They’re not breasts, they’re Dalek bumps”. ---
