Grace Kelly always had that icy vibe that didn’t really appeal to me. She was attractive enough, but just a bit chilly. Whoever said Eva Gardner will have to share - and from what I’ve read and heard, she wouldn’t have thought twice about it. ---

Let me be the first to drop a glove near “Heaven Knows, Mr. Allison”-era Robert Mitchum. Even if he just glances at the glove, looks at me, and grunts, “You expecting me to pick that up?” 😃 If I didn’t feel up to tackling the formidable Mr. Mitchum, there’s always Leslie Howard, John Loder, and 1930’s-era Joseph Cotten – and those aren’t bad fall-backs! I’d also volunteer to be James Dean’s designated driver _any_ night… ---
