Andy Griffith–Nobody could replace Barney Fife. Nobody did, if you get my drift. Leave It to Beaver–Richard Rickover was no match for Larry Mondello, who was always funny the way he overate so much–like Jethro (Beverly Hillbillies) or Jughead. M_A_S\*H–Klinger wound up replacing Radar, if that’s possible. Anyway, that’s why he quit wearing dresses, as far as I’m concerned. Cheers–Diane and Coach (It’s a pity Colasanto died ☹ ). Rebecca was too much of a rich man’s Margaret Houlihan. As for Woody–well, I’m from Indiana myself. NCIS–Vance in place of Shepherd? I don’t like it–too much infighting–he and Gibbs always at loggerheads! The former director wasn’t that way; the earlier episodes could focus more on the team doing plain old NCIS stuff.
