Clue: There appear to have been three perpetrators. Evidence indicates that the victim was initially struck twice with a speckled freshwater fish, then bludgened repeatedly with fish of a second species; the third perpetrator used one of the murder weapons to inflict a stab wound, then returned later to inflict a second stab wound. ---

The crime was committed using a scalar weapon, in the middle of a room filled with art-deco statues while George Gershwin’s _Rhapsody in Blue_ was blasting in the background. ---

Although you’re not right about the ‘three person’ theory, we’ve deduced that the location is important and it would be good if you considered this as well before applying anymore logic to the situation. Sorry to disagree, but it’s necessary for thorough investigation. And I’m sure that’s not all. (Be gentle. At least I tried. ;)) ---

Correct so far: (1) TwoTrouts (2) Polycarp. Extra clues for (3): The third perpetrator is Irish. And used a scalar weapon. Once, and then a second time. ---
