Do I exist at all? (I used to be **autz** if that helps at al)l. I doubt it does, but I’ve been here quietly for something like 8 years. ---

You have been working for quite a few years as an independent contractor with an engineering partnership, half of which has recently retired, and were insulted when, instead of offering to allow you to buy into his former partner’s half of the firm, the remaining partner offered to hire you as an employee instead. Worked her way through college, and loves big dogs. **Eleanorigby** : From the Midwest, very strong opinions, not very happy with her marriage. **WhyNot** : Mother, hangs out with the “crunchy granola” crowd and often has good tips for doing things more naturally. **Sampiro** : Fellow librarian, works in an academic library. Southern, gay, and writes a bit like Twain and Faulkner were rewriting _Springtime for Hitler_ to be a story of the Antebellum South a la _Song of the South_. Has a lot of really crazy stories and a lot of factual information about aspects of Southern culture. **SleepsWithButterflies** : In her 30s (?), blonde, thin, mentions that thinness is due to lots of working out and watching her food consumption rather than through natural metabolic ability. Photographs well, and occasionally posts photos from a boat/yacht of some sort. **Sunspace** : Canadian, thinks himself unattractive (IIRC, an unfounded assertion) and feels unlucky in love, tech-y, did that voice samples thread a while back. ---

Ooooh! I’m practically famous! Yes, I live in Tucson, have 2 sons nears yours in age (one is 10 and one is 12), plus two additional children (5 year old boy and 7 year old girl). And I still really don’t like living in Tucson, although I must admit, my hatred of this place has diminished. ---
