Skald the Rhymer, writer, fun guy, witty, a supervisor at work, rough break up still recent. Glee: Chess Expert, British, Teaches D&D & Chess. Would make a great game room mod someday. Tolkien fan Malacandra: Another Tolkien Expert, Writer (very good), Brit. Marley23, New Yorker, writer, dabbled in comedy, Allman Brother fan and spin-offs of said. WhyNot: Hippyish, Mother of two, Chicago area, Training to be a nurse, very green. Southern Yankee: Moved south from NJ and still a big Yankees fan. Ah, it’s OK. But I _am_ a hardass. Viggo Mortensen’s character in _The Road_ was actually modeled on me. The screenwriters spent weeks “shadowing” me and observing my behavior. Overall I think they did a good job, although I’m pissed that they ultimately pussied out and made him not be a cannibal. ---

Well, every time I see your name I cringe a little bit, because the term “kidney failure” strikes me as pretty morbid and disgusting. It’s like a poster on a firearms forum I used to be on, whose name was “CYANIDE GENOCIDE”. I always wanted to say to him, “look, man…I support free expression and everything but is that really the phrase you want to be using as your handle, the name that prefaces every post you make?” I never did, though, because I figured user names are just a personal thing, like tattoos, that people shouldn’t take issue with. So I don’t have anything against you, but the name does strike me as a little gross. What inspired you to use it, if you don’t mind me asking? ---
