Yes, you need to buy the album. I don’t know how many, if any, of her other albums you have, but it’s on par with her earlier work, and is much better than the previous two, which I found a little wanting. It may be an album of remixes and B-Sides, but it’s just as good as any real album I have. I like to think I’m to Sarah what you are to Happy, and I actually sort of like that I’m the only person who has posted to a two or three year old thread with five posts in it, but you will certainly get a chance to post in it again, whenever she next releases an album. ---

That’s one of the reasons I like etymology- you start off with a weird word, follow it to another langauge, and you find it in a strange Biblical story most people haven’t heard of. ---

In addition to the Nashville area Dopers that I met a couple of years ago at a Dopefest, there are a number of Dopers that stand out as a part of our community that I feel that I know on a first name basis. **Klondike Geoff** - Oldest (?) member, climbed a mountain for his 80th birthday. **Nava** - Spanish Doper who makes international moves, gamer **Colibri** - “Hummingbird”, bird expert in Panama **Polycarp** - A saint of a guy 🙂 , Christian, theology expert **Bosda** - Smart alec Doper in Tennessee **Der Tris** - Exxtreme atheist and liberal **Skald** - Fellow Tennessean, makes me giggle **Sampiro** -Southern humorist with a Faulkneresque family, college librarian, gay, dog lover **Rick** - SoCal car expert, can make me laugh with his one line responses **Hal Briston** - Established that he doesn’t “do” quadripeds, husband to a surrogate mother, father to the Littlest Briston **Silenus** - SoCal high school teacher who wears Hawaiian shirts, true to his namesake, he eats, drinks and is merry **Oakminster** - Funny southern man, likes casinos, firearms, football and True Grit, but not necessarily in that order **crazycatlady76** - Crafter, cook, locovore, vet tech in eastern KY, married to **Dr J** **catwhisperer** - The poster formerly known as **Featherlou** , cat lover from Calgary, married to **Dread Pirate Jimbo** **norinew** - Formerly of MD, now a WV landlady, mother to **mudgirl** **Qadgop** - Prison doc in WIgreat stories, Tolkein expert, father of **elfbabe** **dinsdale** -Atheist Unitarian attorney, has 3 college age kids, pretty logical fellow **Malleus, Incus, Stapes** - Young Jewish woman, cat lover **Anne Neville** - A convert to Judaism, cat lover **lynn bodoni** - Admin in DFW, Italian **Johnny L.A.** - Now in WA, I want to be invited to dinner at his house **Gary T** - Auto mechanic in the heartland There are more, but these are the ones, right off the top of my head, that if they are the OP or the last poster in a thread, I’m likely to open it. ---

Drain Bead: public defender and fairly recent mom. Past is past shit so that’s what matters. 🙂 Creaky: dresses cats and is an attractive young woman. Thin no matter what she thinks. Nzinga Seated: one of my favorite posters and has some very tolerant views despite ignorant stereotypes, cool taste in music Jali: tea lover and wish she’d post more here again. She came to DFW once and I really wanted to meet her. Reasonable Stoid: legal difficulties that makes me as an attorney cry Guin: pretty girl with issues that keep her stuck with parents, rumored huge yabos, posts in the pit a bunch Wring; very fond of bad tv which is a good thing Tdn: 90% of his threads involve hitting on women Yams!: always pleasant and taught me about prehistoric creatures day. Lezlers: went through law school as a doper and now practices in CA. Had relationship problems, but fell in instant love and I hope it worked! Ruffian: Pet lover, back problems, new kidlet and I think I’d like her in RL Argent Towers: too fond of bad cars Muffin: always makes me smile Quasi: I think I was snarky to him a long time ago. It involved notes he kept at home from medical work. I still feel bad about that. St. Germain: a softy for animals who needs to find her prince! Lissa Lissar: I think she’s the one who used to post about working in a museum, got grief, stopped posting for a bit and now posted that she’s 7 months preggers. Congrats! A lot of my favorite posters don’t post any more. And, uh if you want to have a snapshot of me, life moves on and you grow up. Think of me as a partner at a lawfirm, 2 kiddos and a workaholic! ---
