I don’t have to do this all in one sitting, do I? **Leaffan** and I are about as far away from each other, politically, as it is possible to be, and yet he is a really good man and I respect him very much. I seem to recall he comes from about 50km away from where my mother was born. **Cunctator** sings in an Australian choir based out of Sydney, and I always enjoy finding out what they are singing. I missed one of their broadcasts by about 15 minutes, and there was much gnashing of teeth. **Gorsnak** once built a theremin, and lives in the same province as **Northern Piper** , though amusingly, further north. My parents lived in the same city as Gorsnak from 1980 until 2005, and it is very beautiful. **Savannah** and I have almost exactly the same tastes in radio programs. **WordMan** has an incredible passion for the guitar, which is matched only by his encyclopedic knowledge. He is also interesting for being remarkably well acquainted with music that is outside his tastes… **Inigo Montoya** not only has an easily recognized user name, but I also know him for his wild imagination and surreal sense of seque. **Cat Whisperer** I should have said something right away, because now no-one is going to believe me. Cat Whisperer posted something about how CBC programming sounded just ‘dreadful’ about a week ago, and something about the writing made me say to myself “Hang on, that sounds like something featherlou would have said.” **Furlibusea** turns out to be someone I had the honour to meet at the Banff School of Fine Arts in the early eighties. I had not run into her in about 27 years… **An Arky** - I have one of his albums, and it’s really good. That’s all for this evening, but this is fun. ---

\*\*Le Ministre de l’au-delà \*\* - has the name that I apparently can’t spell, so I didn’t put it in my index card list, although I tried to search for it. His name is from a song by a group from Quebec, and he always weighs in thoughtfully on any Canadian question. Also, he plays guitar. ---

Oh damn. I forgot **WordMan**. We haven’t met, and we haven’t always had 100% agreement, but I respect his knowledge of guitar and music, and I suspect he’d be a lot of fun to have a beer and jam with. ---

**Cat Fight** - good feminist. **eleanorrigby** - Unhappily married, has strong opinions and writes about them well. \*\*Sampiro \*\*- \*brilliant \*writer, a bit defensive about the South. **Quartz** - unemployed, patriotic British guy. **chowder** - Oldish British guy who loves cats. **Diogenes** - used to love his posting style; still appreciate it on certain subjects. **Really Not All that Bright** - British, Indian ethnicity, now lives in the US. **MeanOldLady** - most of what you all said. Her personality comes across really strongly. \*\*Nzinga, Seated \*\*- black woman living in a ghetto area, like reading her posts, she’s not remotely precious or afraid to admit a lack of knowledge. Unpretentious and interesting. Initial controversy over username… \*\*astro \*\*- I usually read his thread titles and feel he’s trying to prove a point I definitely don’t agree with. ---
