# Which Dostoevsky novel should I read?

This isn’t exactly literature I can identify a decent reason for liking, and it doesn’t feel like normal Russian Literature, but _One Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovich_, by Aleksander Solzhenitsyn is an excellent read for a long plane/train ride. It’s short, but a slow read.  
A couple shorts by Pushkin make nice for interjections of Russian humor, and a second for Gogol.
