A couple vets (Sally Menke was last nominated for another Tarantino film, and nominee Cameron won in this category for _Titanic_), but mostly newcomers here. Which would get your vote?

I thought the editing in Hurt Locker was amazing. It was a tough choice between it and Inglourious Basterds.

I went with _The Hurt Locker_, hands-down – it’s been many, many months since I’ve seen it, but I still remember how effective the editing was in that movie.
